What a fantastic week we have had swimming. Our swimming skills and confidence have grown so much and it has been so awesome to watch. We have learnt how to float on our backs, breath when doing free style and also learnt some survival skills. Check out the photos...

Sandpit Investigation

Room 8, 9 and 10 have been very busy in their sub-groups planning and designing how they would like their sandpit to look. Check out the photos and see what each group has been up too...

Deano Yipadee

A few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to have Deano Yipadee visit us at school. He is an author, musician and producer.

He has written the books:
- Jingle Bells, Rudolph Smells
- Nee Naw the Little Fire Engine
- Stink-o-saurus

He shared all three books, made us laugh the whole time and we even had a visit from Rudolph.

Athletics

What a day we had for our Athletics on Tuesday. We couldn't have asked for better. The children had a great day and it was great to see so many being brave to participate and encouraging others. Thanks to the parents who came along and cheered the children on!

Bus Safety

Last week we had Constable Vink and Kirsty Barr talking to the children about how to stay safe on the bus. This will be great when we travel to Cromwell later this term to go swimming.

The children learnt that they need to have their bottom and back on the back of the seat, have their bag under the seat in front of them, and have quiet voices so the bus driver can concentrate. They also learnt how to get on and off the bus safely and where/how to wait for the bus safely.

Making Pizzas!

We have been very busy learning about fractions this term. To finish off our fraction unit, the Year 1 and 2's made pizza's! Check out the photos! They had to divide their pizzas into fractions to share with their friends.
